First of all, this fat pile of shit never served in the military and would not know how to lead a platoon of thirsty Marines to free beer and hot babes. Second, his absurd claim that you do not commit troops until you have a clear idea of the enemy is pure bullshit.
EXAMPLE: The Marines were sent in to defend the Embassy and compound during the Boxer Rebellion in China and one Marine, PFC Dan Daly, held the wall, against a large amount of the enemy, earning the first of two Medal of Honors.
EXAMPLE: The Marines at Belleau Woods only knew that there was a shitpot full of Germans in front of them and they had to be cleared out of the woods. They waded through waist high wheat and into history as Teufel Hunden ever after.
EXAMPLE: Nimitz committed the only three operational carriers we had in the Pacific on a codebreaker’s guesstimate, who was reading 1 word in 10 of the Japanese code and we only knew the target was Midway.
EXAMPLE: The mighty First Marine Division was committed to the Pusan Perimeter not knowing the full extent of the North Korean force but they were committed to win.
EXAMPLE: The Marines kept coming into Khe Sanh knowing it was surrounded and outfought the NVA.
EXAMPLE: Colonel Harold Moore’s men kept coming into the Ia Drang valley in the face of an unknown enemy force, only that there was a bunch of em!
One of the MANY problems that the Obama Cartel has is a serious lack of guts, that flows out of the White House, into the Pentagroin, and throughout the offices of the government. We know it, the enemy knows it, and deep down, Obama, Panetta, Hillary, and the rest of the traitors know it.
If you doubt this, remeber that F-15s/F-16s flying in from Sicily at Mach 1+ would have been there onsite within 20-25 minutes, strafing and dropping presents on the heads of the vermin attacking our Embassy and Consulate. If there were drones overhead, as the evidence shows, then they were armed. Launch a few Hellfires and nail the mortar crews that murdered Glen Doherty and Ty Woods who were holding out. We off the USS Monrovia( APA31) Marines and Navy go to a bull fight in Barcelona Spain. Bull comes out about dead and this tight pants little punk kills him. All the Locals cheer, We all boo and throw the pillows we sit on. After a pretty good blood fight with them most of us end up in a filthy hole of a prison. Our Captain comes over and they refuse to let us out. He says they have a half hour to let us out or the five ships and remaining remains and big guns will be coming. Out we come Five American bucks apiece. What I am saying is our proud and patriotic Captain knew how to deal. He didn’t call any fools never experiencing the true gangsters of these countrys. I’ve read that the “ambassador” was running guns, first to the terriorist in Libya, then to the same in Syria. It was an assassignation. I believe I found out Panetta was in the Army for three years (no combat, some pogue job). That said, he obviously isn’t an American warrior. I do not recall a single Marine that wouldn’t run to the sound of the guns. Obama should hang, and if we have to hang the CNO, Commandant, Army Chief of Staff, Air Force whatever he’s called, so be it. If I was the Commandant, I would already have replaced the CO of the MEU in the Med. My father told me that if I was right, I should beat on the table, kick the GI can, spit in the face of anyone telling me to “stand down”, but I better be right. You are never wrong when you go to the aid of wounded comrades.

Example: The USAAF flew twin engine B25′s off the deck of the USS Hornet to attack Japan on what was basically a suicide mission. The raid was made by all volunteer crews and there were no lack of volunteers. One of America’s greatest pilots, Jimmy Dolittle, was in command of the raid and was the recipient of a well deserved Medal of Honor. (PS: I was lucky enough to meet General Dolittle many years ago.)
Example: The USAAF flew P40′s off the deck of carriers (including the USS Ranger) to support the “Torch” Invasion of North Africa. (PS: My father was the 5th P40 off the USS Ranger.) The 33rd Pursuit Group, for a time, was the only US fighter group in North Africa. Dad told me that aircraft recognition generally wasn’t a problem. If he and his fellow pilots saw 50 planes or more coming at them they knew it was the enemy. The US didn’t have that many aircraft in North Africa.
Americans don’t worry about the odds. We worry about getting the job done.

Gunny, a new story is comming down the pike on this one as to why Obama did nothing…true or, not true, we’ll find out later but,
what I’d heard this morning is that the Ambassador was in Benghazi to do an arms deal for the Syrian rebels while the Turkish ambassador was mediating it (and left one hour before the attack began).
The attackers were supposedly…Iranian troops or, Iranian backed “combatants” who were there to stop the deal because Iran is the Syrian government’s ally and were using the cover of being “Lybian al-queda” as a matter of convenience.
The real kicker is that our intel operatives AND the president KNEW Iran had assets in the area planning something which is why Obama wavered on striking them…in order to avoid any information leaking out that Iran is actively engaging us…and that Americans would demand action before the election.
It sounds plausable but, if it’s completely true or, not, I don’t know.
The guy I got it from is pretty sharp, well connected and, isn’t the type to spout or, repeat bullshit that would harm his reputation.

I thought the very same thing about Panetta. One of the lamest things I’ve heard from a Sec of Defense, “we don’t put troops in harm’s way”. Then what the hell do we have troops for then? What a jackass. And we were aware too that Panetta was a commie.

IMHO I believe the people at the consulate were killed to keep his gun running into Syria a secret. Fox has done some very good investigative reporting on this.
