10. NY. Their state has a deficit of $2B after a slash and burn budget session but it was in double digits! New York is number two out of the fifty states in corruption. They are number one in total taxation (12.8%) and number three in estimated illegal aliens. They rank number four in violent crime and they also keep electing scumbags like A. Weiner, Upchuck Schumer, ex-Senator Shrillary Clinton, etc. Naturally they have a gun ban wherein only Mayor Bloomberg can have a gun along with armed bodyguards. NY is number two in total number of welfare cases, after California. They are number one in people fleeing the state which can be looked upon as good or bad, depending on if they bring the liberal virus to YOUR state! A union goon state.
11. VT. This state has a deficit of $150+M. Not a bad state overall. Good employment and low taxes. The only reason that they can be voting Dem is an influx of NYers escaping the Hell they created in NYC!
12. ME. This state has a deficit of $165M. Maine is number six nationwide, in welfare per capita and number sixteen in taxation per capita and number nine in taxes overall. Really, not a bad state overall, ranking #5 in corruption. Probably why they vote Dummycrat.
13. MA. Six words sum up this state rather well. John Kerry. Ted Kennedy. Barney Frank. High taxes. Business UNfriendly.
14. CT. Number three in total taxation. Their deficit is $146M and the states is overrun with union goons. Their unemployment rate is 8.3%. Again, not a bad state overall but the Blue is likely from NYers who f-d up their state and then fled to Connecticut to escape high taxes, high crime, high unemployment, etc. New Haven is one of the most dangerous cities in the US for violent crime.
15. RI. Another state NYers have fled to and poisoned. In the middle for most indexes. They are number six for overall taxation.
16. NJ. Number two in taxation nationwide. New Jersey is ranked 45th for being GOOD for business, in other words, they suck for business. In fact, the BOTTOM SIX states that SUCK for businesses are ALL BLUE STATES! (CT, NJ, MI, MA, IL, NY, CA)
17. DE. Two words. Joe Biden. One word. Unions. HIGH violent crime rate.
18. MD. Number 40 out of 50 for states GOOD for business. Number nine for overall taxation. This state ranks right up there for pissing on the Second Amendment and with a crime center like Prince George County and DC close by, residents probably need access to heavy artillery! Heavily corrupt. Baltimore one of the most dangerous cities in the USA.
19. DC. Number one in the poverty index. 50% of the population there is functionally illiterate thanks to DC’s crappy public schools. They have been renamed the District of Corruption for decades. Two words. Marion Barry. The crime in DC is off of the charts, 564 vice the national median of 39.4. If America ever needs an enema, this is where the nozzle goes. EIGHT out of every 100 people here is on welfare. Highest in the nation. Small wonder they vote Dem.

And your map pretty well shows the reason for the 17th Amendment. Nearly all the red states are governed by conservatives. Prior to the 17th the Senate would have been much more conservative. Somehow the Constitutional Rapists convinced the country of the need to change the process for which Senators are selected.
Folks like those New Yorkers whose votes ruin a state and then they flee to another state kinda reminds me of parasites who suck an animal dry and when it’s dying leave the carcass and attach themselves to another still alive and start the process all over again.
And like the parasite they haven’t a clue as to what they are doing beyond self gratification without the effort.
Absolutely right. NH was deep red 10 or 15 years ago, now it is pink. Romney is up by 2 points where before he would have enjoyed a 20 to 30 point lead. There has been an influx of MA and NY residents infecting the state for the past decade bringing themselves , their “principles,” and their culture with them. There was a time when people moved to NH because they wanted to embrace our libertarian, anti-tax, small government, Live Free or Die way of life. Now they just come here because they can get a better deal on a McMansion than in MA or NY.
Always has been,always will be. They still suck because they cannot shake the past.
