1. I HATE this piece of shit. Back in ’91, when I had my foot on Saddam’s throat, he said let him up. No general would ever suggest to the President that the enemy has had enough. As a result of Powell’s pussyism, 6,000 fine young Americans are dead, and thousands are severely injured. Powell’s job in ’91 was to beg the President to finish Saddam off. He should be tried for treason, and shot.

2. This situation reminds me of a reason I began to dislike the actor, Denzel Washington. From what I understand he visits VA hospitals, is involved regularly in military support groups etc. and has even been supposedly known to write checks for wounded veterans that literally paid their mortgages off. These reasons and the fact he is a good actor always made me like the guy. Well the month after Nobama was elected, Readers Digest wrote an article about Denzel’s support for the socialist. If you can find it, read it. It was a VERY long 3+ years ago, BUT he continually implied his support for him, and the reason he wanted his family to be at the inaugaration was all due to the fact that he was America’s first “black” president. Multiple times he alluded to this fact. AKA he voted for and supported the man because of his skin color. Nuff said.

     I try to think that many blacks are suckered in because they listen to Jesse and Al and other charlatans. They have been lied to by the Dems since the 40′s but they are beginning to think for themselves.

3. Powell is the poster child for what can go wrong when Republicans pander to minorities for the sake of appearance. How many times must we be stabbed in the back before we get that?

         Thanks for the good comment and while I see your point, I cannot respect Powell for the below reasoning.

         I respected him when I was in the Gulf in 90/91 until he came up with that preposterous cease-fire that guaranteed we’d be back. Heck, I even thought of him running for POTUS back then!

         Then, he backstabs Bush 43. Then he endorses Obama in 2008 and that I can see that because he and Obama are black. No sweat. No problemo. BUT! Now, after almost four YEARS of this idiot screwing the nation, KILLING 75% of the GIs in Afghanistan in less than 4 years while spending 75% of the money, again in less than 4 year, as he undercuts the military, forces them to use their money to buy expensive biofuel vice using that money for upgrades, training, etc, and on and on, he endorses the douchebag AGAIN! If Powell was any sort of General, he would have spoke out when the Obama Regime came up with that ridiculous medal for heroic restraint and for keeping the troops from engaging the Taliban at night so as to let the locals get their beauty sleep but he is in keeping with the rest of the PC brass hats in the Pentagroin. That doesn’t even include the criminals in Obama Regime, Libya, an illegal war, 16 Trillion in debt…

         Brother, I can forgive a lot and have liberal relatives that I cut slack to but when Powell did this TWICE, my last shred of respect for him is toast.

         You show great character in that comment but as a retired enlisted man I expect much out of my officers and when they fail to measure up, over and over, they are nothing to me and I cannot respect them.
