EXCERPT: “The state Assembly on Wednesday voted final legislative approval to a ban on carrying unloaded rifles and shotguns openly in public in California cities, with supporters citing recent mass shootings in other states and concern by police officers. The Assembly voted 43-30 to send the legislation to Gov. Jerry Brown, who has said he owns three firearms but has not yet taken a public position on the bill. Assemblyman Anthony Portantino (D-La Canada Flintridge) introduced the measure as a follow-up to a bill signed last year by Brown that prohibited people from openly carrying unloaded handguns in public. Some have carried guns in public in a demonstration of a right to bear firearms.
The new measure makes it a misdemeanor, subject to jail time and fines, to openly carry unloaded long guns in incorporated cities. It was backed by law enforcement officials including Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca and Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck.”

I love California; lived there for 40 years of my life.
In fact, just spent 2 weeks vacationing at Tahoe, Yosemite and Sequoia parks.
Everything you could possibly want to do or see is a few hours away. The weather’s just about perfect most of the time. It was as close to paradise as there could be, and we were forced to kiss it goodby.
Unconstitutional policies and its very attractiveness have made it an undesirable place to live.

You got that right Cheesy 4 hours and I’m in Disneyland, 9 hours and I’m at the Grand Canyon, Yosemite is just an hour and a half away redwoods just to the north, 2 1/2 hours and I’m at the beach can’t really beat the weather, but it’s so depressing every time you go to the poles your just out voted by fools and we have the lamest politicians in the country even when the vote goes your way some fag atavist judge turns the vote over, I keep saying I’m not voting again but of course I do. I’m just gunna make the best of it and hope people finally wake up (yeah right like that’s gunna happen).
