EXCERPT: ”Unmanned police drones, comparable to those used in war zones such as Afghanistan, could soon be secretly watching over the streets of UK cities, according to a National Police Air Service director. ­The unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are being considered to monitor crowded events in Britain, such as concerts and festivals, as soon as the aerial units become cost-effective.

“I see unmanned systems as part of the future. There is an aircraft over London all the time — every day, giving images back. Why does it need to be a very expensive helicopter? If somebody gave me an unmanned system that I could use as I use a helicopter at half the cost, within the regulations, I would buy it tomorrow.”  Superintendent Richard Watson said in a presentation to the defense industry, reports The Times.”

The UK has between 2 million and 4.5 million CCTV’s, which is roughly one camera per every 14-28 people. Many of these have directional microphones in order to listen to “suspected naughty concersations,” and they can also talk back to their subjects, advising them to be nicer, more politically correct, etc.

And Simon and the other UK leftists have the time to bitch, moan, and groan about the USA? Subject of the Crown now means Punk Bitch of the Crown.

May our liberty loving brothers and sisters in the UK wake up one day and run the Orwellian Nanny Staters (Leftists) into the Thames.

    Guess they’re putting up all those drones so they can get a bird’s eye view of the coming massacre.
    Another funny thing.
    Used to be the people were armed and the Bobbies (cops) were not.

  7. Well, all I can say is those drones will make good target practice as we shoot them down. And with the little ones the size of a butterfly, we can use just nets.
    I guess we have to be quick about it though before we get blown up snaring them into nets.
