If you believe that green energy will EVER replace oil and maybe one day, power say, a 747, then you’re a moron.
FACT: The EPA has closed over 40 coal fired electricity producing plants.
FACT: The EPA is closing over 150 more.
FACT: The EPA has closed or will close TWENTY coal mines. (Hey union voters…)
FACT: Solar costs nine times MORE than coal and thirty-one time MORE than nuke.
FACT: Wind costs five times MORE than coal and seventeen times MORE than nuke.
FACT: Adopting green energy now costs Americans on average, thirty-two percent MORE in their utility costs.
FACT: Energy rates are UP across the board: Res: 31.9%, Indust: 30.7%, Comm: 27.4% and WHO do you think picks up the tab for these higher energy costs? WHO do you think is more non-competitive in selling their goods overseas?
FACT: The following are ALL OBAMA GREEN FAILURES:
Solyndra, Evergreen Solar, Luminant Energy, Ecotality, Raser Technologies, Nevada Geothermal Power, US Geothermal, Fisker Electronic Car Co., Tesla Electronic Car Co., Ameren Corp., Beacon Power Corp., General Motors Volt, A123, Enerdel, Johnson Controls(Apterra Car Maker), Range Fuels (bought by Lunatech in New Zealand and who got seven MILLION dollars in grants), TARP (bailed out 458 companies), Cash for Clunkers, Enerl Ind. And Enerdel, Amonix, Pathstone, First Energy Corp., Energy Conversion Devices (ECD), United Solar Ovonic, Abound Solar, Solar Trust of America, Solar Millinium (Germany).
Cost to US taxpayers: $1.4 TRILLION DOLLARS
Romney would be WELL SERVED to discuss THIS on the campaign trail.
UPDATE: (Hat tip to Hardnox) EPA shuts down FIVE refineries in the tri-state area of PA, NJ and DE which represents 50% of the total East Coast production output. Further, the EPA has shuttered 122 refineries and petro-chemical facilities in Texas alone.
